There has never been a better time to visit Market Rasen.
This time last year the town won £100,000 from the Mary Portas fund to revamp high streets - and the cash has certainly made a positive difference.
The town has an expanding weekly market, a themed market every month, a new shop where arts and crafts entrepreneurs sell their work and a community-run greengrocer selling mouth-watering local produce.
Local people and visitors alike are drawn to the award-winning monthly MR BIG (Market Rasen Business Improvement Group) markets for their impressive selection of products on offer at more than 35 stalls.
You can pick up everything from tasty chutneys to stylish jewellery - and all at a reasonable price.
Market themes have included ‘Magical May’, Mad March and even a Grand National theme in April .
And let’s not forget the town’s growing range of independent shops, which offer customers a truly personal shopping experience.
Plus, earlier this month, the town was awarded £101,000 from the government’s High Street Renewal fund in recognition of the good work that has already been done.
This money will fund some great projects including a community cafe and visitor centre - which can only improve the town further.
