Market Rasen’s newest shopkeeper is ready to get the party started as she opens the door to her Queen Street premises this weekend.
Clare Bradford has been thinking of opening a shop since she moved to the town 18 months ago - in fact it is something she has always wanted to do.
“I have always been arty and crafty,” she said.
“I started party4hire in 2011, dressing venues for weddings, but now I want to do something slightly different and I have always wanted to run a shop.
“Since we have moved to Market Rasen, the ideal premises has come up and so I decided to go for it.”
The shop’s name - ‘Party Box’ - came about through a competition Clare ran on her social media page.
Winner Teresa Atkin will be collecting a voucher for £50 to spend in the shop at a forthcoming VIP evening.
And there will be plenty to choose from, as Clare will be stocking everything you need for a great party - balloons, party boxes, fancy dress and much more.
She will also be continuing her wedding line, including personalised stationery and hat hire too, as well as selling online - www.party4hire.net .
“I’m really looking forward to working with other local businesses to help bring people into the area,” added Clare.
“We need a variety of shops in the town to encourage people to shop here.”
