North Lincolnshire Council says it will consider applications for hardship funding from businesses who feel they have been affected by ongoing work to construct a new roundabout at Barnetby Top.
The hardship fund is available to businesses that can prove that they are suffering hardship due to the roadworks.
Deputy council leader Coun Rob Waltham said: “It important that those businesses affected by the roadworks apply for the funding to help them during this difficult time.
“It is virtually impossible to avoid any disruption when carrying out roadworks, but working with local MP Andrew Percy, we are doing all we can to ensure the roundabout is completed as soon as possible.
“This is a major safety scheme that local residents and Barnetby Parish Council called for. It is a huge investment of £1.3m and will improve safety at this busy junction.”
