Bring some festive cheer to your workplace and wear a Santa suit to help sick children.
St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice is looking for fun people who would like to brighten up their workplace and, at the same time bring some festive cheer to the children and young people who use the services of the Hospice.
It doesn’t matter what type of job you do, just get the OK from the boss, or, better still get the boss to join in too, then go about your daily routine dressed as Santa Claus.
“This event is open to anyone, so why not encourage your work place, club or group to take part?” said Hospice Events Co-ordinator, Angela Greenfield.
And if you are a student or not working, then you can still join in.
“Wear your Santa Suit to school/college, put it on to pop to the shops, take the kids to school, meet friends for lunch; or wear on your Friday night out on the town. We would love to see the streets and workplaces across Lincolnshire covered in Santas,” added Angela.
The official date for Wear Your Santa Suit to Work Day is Friday December 12, but if you are not at work or can’t wear a Santa Suit on that date, then why not select an alternative - you could even cause a stir by wearing your suit in January.
To register for the Wear Your Santa Suit to Work Day and help the hospice, log on to www.standrewschildrenshospice.com.
Registration costs £10, which includes a Santa suit and fundraising pack.
There is no minimum sponsorship, just raise as much as you can by dressing up for the day.
Child-sized suits are also available for any children who would like to take part; registration is £5.
