The Angel is back in place above the entrance to the north Lincolnshire building of the same name in Brigg Market Place.
She was taken down to have damage repaired and now has a clean bill of health and is back in her rightful place, ready to be admired at the Christmas lights switch-on on Friday.
The original Angel was first made over 100 years ago and when she was taken down it was not surprising that wear and tear had been considerable.
Only an outer shell really remained, due to the protection given; damp and rot had set in badly.
Now happily restored, with repairs carved by O H Boyd, she is a splendid sight.
In November the Angel and the surrounding balcony have been lit up in purple to mark Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month.
