A KEEN supporter of a charity that aims to eradicate world poverty has stepped down after many years of dedicated service.
Barbara Corden, of Legsby Road in Market Rasen, has been involved with the local Christian Aid group for more than 30 years.
A stalwart of the town’s Methodist church, Barbara was their representative on the committee which formed in the late 1980s, helping to raise thousands of pounds for the charity.
During that time she spent many years as the house-to-house collection co-ordinator.
“I first became involved with Christian Aid when we moved to the town in 1964,” Barbara told the Mail.
