Lincolnshire Police and the Dementia Action Alliance (DAA) are joining forces in support of Dementia Awareness Week (May 15-21), with a number of public information events taking place across the county.
The events will give embers of the public an opportunity to gain information and advice on support services available for families dealing with dementia issues.
On Monday May 16 (12 noon-3pm), the Lincoln DAA will have a stand in Lincoln Central library to provide advice and signpost anyone needing further support.
Three days later, on Thursday May 19 (10am-3pm), the West Lindsey DAA will have a similar market stall in Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough.
A further five events will be taking place in the Boston area throughout the week, and further information is available at: www.dementiaaction.org.uk
