Plans for up to 65 homes in Dunholme have been submitted to West Lindsey District Council.
The outline planning application from GIN Property Ltd of Lincoln covers 3.4 hectares off Ryland Road.
It includes affordable housing, 1.1ha of open space, and a small car park for St Chad’s Primary School, which lies across the road.
A report for WLDC says the site is “acceptable” in terms of previous planning policies and “the emerging planning framework for Central Lincolnshire.”
“Furthermore, as well as providing new homes in a sustainable location to support local services and facilities, the proposal is also capable of providing facilities to support the local school, provide affordable housing, preserve and enhance the existing landscape and provide open spaces to serve both Dunholme and Welton,” it said.
But local Charles Pickering recently lost an appeal against WLDC refusing 74 homes off Ryland Road, as it was judged “over-development.”
