Wragby and District Young Farmers are looking forward to extending a welcome to all interested young people who would like to share the fun at their new members night on Tuesday, October 6, at 7.30pm.
Anyone aged between 12 and 26 is welcome to go along – you do not have to be a farmer to be a member.
They meet at the Fire and Rescue Station on the Millbrook Business Park off Lincoln Road, where they will launch their winter session of weekly meetings.
The packed programme includes trips to places of interest, social activities, sports, talks and demonstrations, together with an opportunity to take part in competitions and other county events.
The annual county rally is one of the highlights of the YFC year, where all members are involved in a full day of activities rounded off with the rally dance in the evening.
Wragby YFC always takes an active part by demonstrating their skills and having fun together in friendly competition with members of other county clubs.
Once this is over, members dedicate all their spare time into designing and building the trailer for the county show parade after choosing their interpretation of the theme given.
There will be a new members disco on Saturday, October 3.
