TURN over a new leaf and discover some ancient crafts.

Chambers Farm Wood is the place to be if you want the chance to make a magic carpet, turn your hand to green woodworking or weave a willow masterpiece.

The Forestry Commission has teamed up with some top experts to share the secrets of their craft and take part in day-long workshops in the 900-acre Lincolnshire beauty spot, near Wragby.

Mary Porter, Forestry Commission education ranger, said: “Old crafts and skills are alive and kicking and these hands-on workshops will offer a wonderful chance for beginners to try something new in spectacular surroundings.”
