The Sir Joseph Banks Tribute Garden at Horncastle opens this weekend for the National Garden Scheme.
This courtyard garden provides an attractive oasis in this busy market town.
Go along between 1.30pm and 4.30pm this Sunday, August 10, to see 70 different species of plants, many collected by Banks on his voyage with Captain Cook on HMS Endeavour.
Interpretation material is available and a gravel path provides level access.
Admission is £2.50, with children allowed in free of charge.
Teas will be available and there will be plants for sale.
The garden can be found in Bridge Street and entrance is through the shop.
