A seasonal Market Rasen event which occurs every four years always attracts a large crowd - 1983 was no exception.
It is, of course, the Christmas Mime.
And 31 years ago, the weather wasn’t kind to the 25 strong cast, who had to perform in the rain.
The 1983 version was directed by Molly Sykes, with De Aston headteacher Andrew Morgan giving the narration.
The Christmas Mime event started in 1955 and has continued ever since.
The last performance was in 2012, so it is hoped the tradition will continue come 2016.
