Leading the Remembrance Parade from the parish church to the Market Rasen’s war memorial 52 years ago, ahead of the large group of Royal British Legion members, was Rex Cooper.

And more than half a century on, similar scenes continue to take place up and down the country as the nation remembers the fallen of all wars and conflicts.
