On June 21, from 12 noon to 5pm, the village will be staging its biannual open gardens event.
In addition to the eight gardens, other attractions will include the Three Sisters Vineyard, classic cars from the Austin 7 Club and vintage tractors and mowers.
There will also be craft stalls, hand-crafted walking sticks, Cote Hill cheeses and a plant stall, together with a concert in St Mary’s Church to include a choir recital, hand bells and folk songs.
A wide range of refreshments will be available, including local ice cream, teas and a barbecue lunch.
The children’s playground will also be open.
Parking is free – please follow the signs – and combined entry to the gardens is £4 per person, with under 16s free.
Proceeds from the event will go to the village charities of St Mary’s Church, parish hall and The Viking Centre.
Two years ago, more than £4,000 was raised from this event and this year the village hopes to do even better.
