Adventurer Adam Potter was the guest speaker at this month’s meeting of the WI.
The local resident hit the headlines in 2011 when he fell 1,000 feet while out walking with his partner and dog on the snowy slopes of Sgurr Choinnich Mor near Ben Nevis.
He came away relatively unscathed and just 10 weeks later set out to climb Everest.
Accompanied by photographs and film, Adam’s talk showed his clear passion for climbing.
The evening was also the group’s annual meeting, which saw Penny Parrish re-elected as president.
