Schools today are very different from the starched collars and white pinafore days of more than 100 years ago.
This charming picture is art of a collection of images passed to the Rase Heritage Society recently by the Cottingham family.
The school in question is that of Lissington in 1908 and the original owner was Molly Sales, who is pictured on the second row from the back, standing third from the left.
Her sister Kitty is pictured on the row in front at the very centre.
Mrs King was the head at the time, with teachers Miss Dickinson and Mrs Smith.
