The Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival gets underway this weekend, with more than 100 free events.
And it all starts at Welton le Wold with the launch event this Saturday, May 16, at Welton le Wold, with a host of activities and fun for all the family alongside some great discovery-walks taking place between 10am and 4pm.
This Sunday, May 17, members of Rase Heritage will be leading two gentle strolls around Market Rasen.
The first leaves the market place at 11am and the second from the Festival Hall car park at 3pm.
Chalk streams will be the focus for the walk on Monday, May 18, around Nettleton, leaving the ramblers car park in Normanby Road at 10am, with a walk to discover Caistor’s heritage at 2pm.
On Tuesday, May 19, there is the chance to explore Walesby’s heritage; meet at the village hall in Otby Lane at 2pm.
And there will be a woodland walk at Chambers Farm Wood on Wednesday, May 20, starting at 1pm.
There are also a number of bike rides and long-distance walks.
