Rasen Hub Craft Club opens again after it’s summer break today - September 4.

Sessions are held in The Hub every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and this season there are some changes to the programme.

The group is hoping to make a quilt or wall hanging and a blanket, which will be raffled for charity at Christmas and the rest of the time will be spent as ‘craft and chat’ sessions, where crafters can take along their own projects to work on and help others on a less formal basis.

There will also be a monthly workshop, which will accommodate a maximum of ten crafters each time.

The autumn projects will be launched on September 11, when 6in squares for a blanket and /or 12in squares of quilt-sewing, appliqué, or patchwork will be needed.

Weekly session costs are £2.50 per person, plus 20p for refreshments, and £5 for each workshop, payable on booking.

The first workshop is sugarcraft on Wednesday, September 18 and bookings need to be made by September 4.
