DIG out your dinner suit and press that prom dress because tickets are now on sale for the annual Glanford and Lindsey Lions Charity Ball.
Last year the club raised more than £2,000 which was donated to LIVES, which provides a first-response emergency service within communities throughout the county.
The money provided though the charity ball went towards further advanced training for volunteers. In 2010 LIVES responded to more than 15,000 calls.
For 2011 the charities that will benefit are children’s charity Kaleidoscope (NCH) and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.
This years’ Charity Ball takes place on Friday, October 21 at The White Heather, Caenby Corner, where guests can relax to a glass of bucks fizz on arrival and then enjoy a sumptuous meal in pleasant surroundings.
Entertainment will be provided by the Deja Vu 2 Group.
There will also be a fun casino for those who enjoy a flutter and of course no charity event would be complete without a raffle.
The cost of the night will be £320.00 per table of ten, or individual tickets at £35 each.
Please contact Lion Denis Cator on 01724 764720 or 01724 856451 to book your tickets.
