First opening for village garden

A NETTLETON garden will open for this first time this weekend as part of the ‘Yellow Book’ scheme.

The garden at Pottertons Nursery, home of Rob and Jackie Potterton, will be open from 10am to 4pm this Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13.

This well-established garden features an extensive selection of alpines, dwarf bulbs, conifers and woodland plants, with a landscaped rockery housing a stream, waterfalls, pool, raised beds, troughs and island beds.

Admission is £3 for adults, children free, with dogs welcome on short leads.

Proceeds to NGS charities.
