Among the winter events planned by Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre is a trip to the RAF Scampton Heritage Centre.
Included in the day, running from 9.30am to 3pm, is a guided tour of the heritage centre, which includes displays about Lincolnshire’s most famous squadron, the 617, also known as the Dambusters.
The station museum, housed in one of the original WW2 hangers, contains over 400 artefacts, including a Blue Steel Missile.
Photo ID is essential to gain access to the base - this can be a driving licence, passport or bus pass.
The visit take place on Wednesday February 25 and the cost is £20 per person.
The price includes transport, the tour and a picnic lunch.
