Record crowds have visited Caistor for their annual Open Gardens & Scarecrow Trail since 2010 and this weekend the gold-winning, picturesque town hopes to have more than 20 gardens open, plus the beautiful St Peter & St Paul’s Church and the delightful Westbrook Grove Pond complex.
There is a rich variety of gardens to suit every taste, from large parkland styles to small cottage types, together with a fun scarecrow trail.
And two of the gardens are in the NGS Scheme; these will also open in July and August.
Many establishments in the town will be open to provide refreshments, as well as at some gardens, where there will also be plant sales.
Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust will be in the Multi-Use Centre, where you will also be able to buy your passport to visit the gardens at a cost of £5 per person.
The gardens are open from 12 noon to 5pm this Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28.
