December was a busy month for members, starting with the Northwold carol service, which this year was held at Owmby by Spital.
For the regular monthly meeting, it was party time with food and games.
And as part of their commitment to help others in need, everybody took along a wrapped parcel as their competition entry, which, after judging, were auctioned off for charity.
Members also took along carrier bags full of unwrapped items to be passed on to a local Women’s refuge.
Many of the ladies also helped out at the village lunch for senior citizens.
And then it was time to enjoy their own seasonal meal at The Advocate Arms in Market Rasen.
The next meeting will be on Thursday January 8, a week later than usual, when the speaker will be local butcher Frank Preston, who will give an interactive talk including a quiz on joints of meat.
And they have lots of ideas in the pipe line for 2015, including more workshops, sporting taster sessions, coffee mornings and a coach trip.
