It is always a much looked forward to launch to the new year and on this occasion there was an added attraction with entertainment provided by the Wragby Hand Bell Ringers.
They were introduced by the chairman Sheila Minns and played a varied musical selection before inviting their audience to join them and several members took the opportunity to try ringing themselves.
Les Robinson introduced his programme of outings for the year, which starts on Thursday February 26 with a visit to Colton Manor to see the carpets of snowdrops in bloom there.
Les and Terry Ringrose, who prepared the Gardeners’ Association Christmas tree for the Wragby Chapel festival, were thanked for their efforts and it was announced the schedules for the Spring Show, to be held on Saturday April 11, would be available for the next meeting.
