Two coaches were filled with passengers for the Barkwith and District Gardeners Association’s visit to Sewerby Hall and Bridlington.
Organiser Les Robinson had arranged a stop-off for breakfast at a garden centre.
Sewerby Hall was a terrific venue and the group particularly enjoyed the old stately home, the monkey trees and the gardens.
Some of the group stayed at the hall all day while others caught a miniature train into Bridlington and enjoyed a paddle in the North Sea.
The next of Les’s popular programme of outings is a day out to York on Thursday October 17. More details available from Les on 01673 857063.
