Here are five photographs of new reception classes that appeared in the Standard 10 years ago this week.

This group were all featured in the paper at a time when Ed Sheeran was on his third top 10 single (he now has 32) with Lego House, and Steven Spielberg was at the top of the UK box office with The Adventures of Tintin.
