A 72-strong cast of talented young performers will take to the stage this Friday and Saturday for this year’s Stage Experience at Grimsby Auditorium.

And this year’s production will be musical favourite Annie, with the unforgettable songs ‘Tomorrow’, ‘You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile’ and ‘It s A Hard Knock Life’.

Annie tells the story of a spunky depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.

In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

This is the 12th Stage Experience event for the Grimsby Venue supported by a team
of industry professionals with a wide range of experience
including direction, production, musical direction, choreography and technical expertise.

Performances will be at 2pm and 7pm on both days.
