To mark the First World War centenary, Faldingworth hosts a scarecrow festival, with the theme of heroes.
The school and local community will be displaying a range of courageous characters from past and present at the event this coming weekend - June 21 and 22.
The event will also be paying tribute to servicemen and woman who suffer life changing injuries in the line of duty by raising money for the Help for Heroes charity.
Faldingworth School will be the starting point for the scarecrow trail and will also host a range of exhibits and attractions on a heroes theme.
The trail is open from 10am to 4pm each day.
Trail guides can be purchased for £1.
The school’s annual summer fayre will also take place from 2pm to 4pm on the Saturday, with stalls, traditional games and a superhero fancy dress competition for those from 0 to 11 years of age.
