The New London Opera Group kick off their second decade at Louth Playgoers Riverhead Theatre with a concert, A Thing of Shreds & Patches, celebrating the timeless operas of WS Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.

After their fabulous performances of The Contrabandista and Trial by Jury last March, and The Grand Duke last June, A company of singers, with piano accompaniment, will present semi-staged performances of a range of solos, duets, trios and ensembles representing the full range of their collaboration.

The programme will include popular favourites alongside less well known items and is sure to put a spring in the step!

And NewLOG will return to the Louth venue with ‘The Pirates of Penzance’ from June 25 to 27; tickets priced at £13 are available now.

Meanwhile, ‘A Thing of Shreds & Patches’ is on at the Theatre on Saturday February 28 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £11 from the Box Office between 10am and 1pm Monday to Saturday, drop in or call 01507 600350; alternatively visit www.louthplaygoers.com
