THE UNIQUE spirit of 1940s radio will be recreated as the new season of drama begins for Iartsco-Caistor.
Comedy play The Fitzrovia Radio Hour evokes a dinner-jacketed age of casual imperialism and stiff upper lips,
Performed with cut-glass theatricality blending homage and satire, Fitzrovia mixes the chauvinist attitudes of 1940s Britain with sharp contemporary humour to produce a heady comic cocktail – ripping good fun.
Fitzrovia Radio bring the play for one night only to Caistor Yarborough Academy on Sunday October 21.
The licensed bar will be open from 6.45pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 in advance from Caistor Post Office or 01472 851159.
