Talk of murder as Amici performs one-act Pinter play

There is murder in mind for the Amici Touring Theatre this month.

Following on from their recent success with The Titfield Thunderbolt, Amici now present Harold Pinter’s one-act play ‘The Dumb Waiter.

Two hitmen are killing time waiting for their instructions.

Bored and dissatisfied with the conditions of their dingy basement, they indulge in senseless small talk, barely communicating.

Their endless chit-chat is interrupted only by the presence of a dumb waiter, bringing instructions from whoever is above.

Performances take place at Walesby Village Hall on Friday, April 19, Market Rasen Methodist Schoolroom on April 20 and Welton Village Hall on April 21.

Tickets cost £5 from 01673 843575.

Doors open at 7.30pm and performances start at 8pm at each venue.
