THE Limelight Theatre Group and the Broadbent Singers are joining forces for a musical flashback to the 1950s London Café scene.
Henri, Edith and their delightful daughter Gigi host a parade of stars in the making and celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
Written by PJ Nelson, the story is told through the eyes of an elderly Deano, who recalls the decade with his friends while waiting for their bus.
Nearing death’s door, Deano finds himself drifting into his memories of Café Henri and the relationships he had.
The essence of Lonnie Donegan, Tommy Steele, Rosemary Clooney, Betty Hutton, Buddy Holly make guest appearances, along with the stars of stage and screen.
Never Had it so Good will be at The Limelight Theatre in Brookenby this Saturday and Sunday, March 24-25, at 2pm.
So, if you fancy ‘Puttin’ on the style’, joining in with those ‘Magic Moments’ then have ‘No regrets’ by booking your ticket on 01673 885500 or 01472 852952.
