Ealing Comedy classic The Titfield Thunderbolt is being brought to the stage by Amici Touring Theatre at three rural venues.
When the authorities decide to close the branch line from Mallingford to Titfield, villagers refuse to be beaten and decide to run it themselves.
Enjoy a journey through the 1950s countryside, in the company of Amici, as the villagers of Titfield take on the card-waving bureaucracy of British Rail, with hilarious results.
The Titfield Thunderbolt will be performed at Wragby Town Hall on October 30, Osgodby Village Hall on November 2 and Caistor Town Hall on November 3, all at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £7 and £6 from 01673 843575, on-line at amicitouringtheatre.co.uk or from Indulgence in Market Rasen.
