FAMOUS fictional detective Sherlock Holmes is brought to life in the first of the new season of Rural Touring productions at Tealby Village Hall this month.
The Angus & Ross Theatre Company will be bringing their production of Holmes & Watson: The Farewell Tour, by Stuart Fortey, to the hall next Wednesday, October 19.
Before slipping into well-earned retirement, Sherlock Holmes has prevailed upon long-time companion Dr Watson, landlady Mrs Hudson and Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard to join him in a farewell tour of the British Isles.
Rural Touring favourites Angus & Ross re-enact one of the detective’s most baffling unrecorded cases – The Case of the Prime Minister, the floozie and the Lummock Rock Lighthouse.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, and there will be a bar.
Tickets cost £10 or £8 pre-booked (family £20) and are available from Tealby Village Shop on 01673 838718, David on 838701 or Gill on 838130.
