The exhilaration and challenges of being a teenager will be examined through an innovative new play produced right here in Lincolnshire for young audiences.
Zest Theatre Company will be performing Gatecrash at the Louth Riverhead Theatre this Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26.
This groundbreaking professional production places the audience right in the middle of a fictional teenage house party - a drunken night of unrequited love, youthful insecurity, vomit in handbags and dancing on tables.
The performance takes place inside the four walls of a specially designed set that feels like a real living room.
Audiences are then given the power to choose the conversations they listen to through Silent Disco technology.
During this summer, 84 young people across Lincolnshire worked with the creative team at Zest Theatre to develop the production; all their ideas, scripts and characters have now been used to inspire the writing of the final script.
Gatecrash has been jointly commissioned by Lincolnshire One Venues (LOV) and Frequency – Lincoln’s Digital Culture Festival.
The play starts at 7.30pm on both nights, with tickets £8 and £3.50 for Under 26s from 01507 600350.
