A classic British comedy of life in the hotel trade is the latest production for the Walesby Players group of amateur
actors.

Two episodes of Fawlty Towers will be staged next month in Walesby Village Hall.

And the two comic capers chosen by the group are Communication Problems, also called Mrs Richards, and the first ever episode A Touch of Class

“Scenery and props are almost ready and now it’s ‘Scripts Down’ for the cast,” said artist and set designer Ann Marie Whitaker, who is also playing Polly in the show.

The cast of 12 had their first read through in September and are currently rehearsing two evenings a week.

Performances are on Friday March 6 and 13, and Saturday March 7 and 14, all at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available from 01673 838444 or by email joe@walesbyvillage.com.
