Ahead the Edinburgh Festival, Brian Appleton’s History of the World in 3 Darts makes its debut at the Broadbent Theatre in Wickenby.
Brian Appleton, Selly Oak’s most bitter man-rock musicologist and part-time lecturer in media studies, takes to the road with a brand new tour after a lengthy absence.
Brian is the creation of Graham Fellows - the man behind comedy legend John Shuttleworth and Goole concreter Dave Tordoff.
Brian Appleton’s history of Rock’n’Roll was made into a BBC Radio 4 series, now Brian will be looking into some major historical moments and characters and providing answers that even Terry Deary can’t fathom.
He will also be performing some of his greatest hits, such as My Turn to be Poorly - the song that inspired Morrisey to create The Smiths.
The show is on Thursday, August 1, at 7.30pm and Brian wants you to pay no more than £6 since it’s this show’s very first performance in front of an audience.
