Something for all sorts at festival

A festival of all sorts of fun for all sorts of folk takes place at Cabourne Parva later this month.

Funny as Folk is a hybrid - with music from a dizzying array of genres, comedy, street performance, art, crafts and general shenanigans.

There will be a line-up of well-known bands and comedians alongside engaging shows and activities.

And if you are a performer, share your talents with the crowd gathered at the Busk-Stop or jam with others round the festival fire.

There will be bunches of workshops by craftspeople and open sessions for everyone to join in too - from jewellery making to rocket flying.

Or be a part of making a Funny As Folk art installation.

There will be something to amuse the kids and the big kids alike.

Music workshops, woodworking, circuit bending, circus skills, photography, Dr. Ds science table and much more will all add to the fun.

Funny as Folk takes place from Friday June 28 to Sunday June 30, one mile out of Caistor on the Riby Road.
