If you appreciate a good banger, get along to Lincoln Castle on October 25.
The historic setting is once again hosting what has become one of the most popular events in the county calendar.
Last year’s festival saw a whopping 32,000 sausages sold, and organisers the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia and Select Lincolnshire are hoping this year’s event will be even bigger and better.
And there will be more than just the famous sausages to get the tastebuds tingling.
Some of the county’s very best producers - including Redhill Farm Free Range Pork and Osgodby’s Cote Hill Cheese - will also have stalls.
Besides the great food, there will also be live music and entertainment from The Europa Clowns, Matto and Polo, and the Cosmic Sausages, as well as children’s cookery demonstrations
Entry to the festival is free and the castle grounds will be open from 10am to 4pm.
