Middle Rasen duck race - lots of family fun

Middle Rasen will be going quackers again for the New Year’s Day duck race.

The event starts at midday from Rase Bridge in Low Church Road and finishes about 20 minutes later at the Church Street bridge.

It’s easy to take part; buy a duck for £1, give it a name and if it crosses the line in the first three or last three places, you are a winner.

Prizes this year are £100 for first place, £50 second and £25 third, plus £10 each for the last three ducks to finish.

Although a few ducks will be available for sale on the day, they can be bought now from members of Middle Rasen Cricket and Football Club, at Crossroads Stores and The Nags Head in Middle Rasen or online at www.kwax.org.uk

Proceeds will go to help fund local sport through Middle Rasen’s Cricket and Football Club.

Refreshments available after the event at the Nags Head, when additional, non cash, prizes will also be drawn.
