By popular demand, Lindsey Rural Players are reprising their autumn production of Gail Young’s comedy play Cheshire Cats.

It is the tale of six purrfect ladies, self titled the Cheshire Cats, who come together to attempt the “Moonwalk” in aid of breast cancer charities.

From the dominant leader of the group Hilary, who wants to complete the course in record time, to newcomer Maggie, who has never done anything as strenuous before, the show will have you laughing your head off and reaching for the hankies a moment later.

Follow the Cats on their emotional journey as they aim to speedwalk their way to fundraising success while also enjoying a girly weekend away in the capital.

Trainers, tutus and wildly decorated bras are in, high heels, husbands and children out - but a last minute substitute to the team doesn’t meet the physical criteria.

Performances are Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21 at 7.30pm, with an additional matinee performance in aid of Cancer Research at 3pm on the Saturday.
