Limited tickets are still available for what is widely regarded as one of Lincoln’s seasonal highlights.
The Journey is a promenade Nativity led by Mary, Joseph and a donkey in the grounds of Lincoln Castle every night this coming weekend, Friday December 14 to Monday, December 17.
Against the backdrop of the Medieval castle walls and under starlit skies, shepherds, wisemen, the angel Gabriel and innkeepers play their parts with poetry and music adding to the narrative.
Each performance lasts 45 minutes and involves outdoor movement, so wrap up.
Performances are at 6pm and 8pm, with tickets still available for each night’s 8pm slot and some for Friday at 6pm. Gates open half an hour beforehand for mulled wine and refreshments.
Booking is advised through Goodies sweet shop on The Strait, call 01522 525307, or tickets may be available on the gate on the night, costing £4 and £6.
All proceeds are in aid of the Lincolnshire Kidney Patients Association.
