ONE of English music’s most influential figures and a founder member of some of the greatest bands on the contemporary folk scene comes to Tealby village hall this month.
The Rainbow Chasers with Ashley Hutchings – Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and The Albion Band – takes to the stage on Saturday, March 19.
With the formation of Rainbow Chasers, Ashley has gathered around him three of the brightest young talents in today’s acoustic music scene, namely Jo Topping, Jo Hamilton and Ruth Angell. Together they perform original songs of the highest quality and sophistication, incorporating elements of folk and traditional song.
The band’s repertoire and musical virtuosity make for a fabulous show.
