Highly distinguished male vocal ensemble The London Quarter, otherwise known as Cantabile, will be performing in Marshchapel on Friday September 26.
Known throughout Europe and the Americas for their stylish and skilful singing, not to mention their penchant for wit and humour, Cantabile also come with the recommendation they meet the musical preferences of almost everyone.
Their forthcoming concert at St Mary’s Church, Marshchapel is entitled “From Madrigal to McCartney”.
Amongst the composers represented in the programme are Rossini, Bach, Weelkes, R.Strauss, and Parry. These are complemented by works of accomplished musicians from other traditions such as Dankworth, Gershwin, Duke Ellington and McCartney.
Marshchapel Arts, organizer of this event, is committed to providing fine cultural experiences in the area, and is proud always to present the best calibre performers at affordable prices.

The concert starts at 7.30pm, but as always at refreshments will be available from 6.45pm.
Parking is easy, with an attendant on duty, and the church has fully accessible toilet and other facilities.
