Very rarely do you get a group of musicians with the virtuoso talents of six of the UK’s leading Blues musicians together in one room, let alone one band.
But at The Hope Tavern in Holton le Moor this weekend it is one of those rare occasions.
John O’Leary’s Sugarkane plays at the Holton le Moor venue this Sunday, February 9.
Established in 2002, The John O’Leary Band evolved into Sugarkane.
And Sugarkane has trail blazed a unique and uncompromising brand of blues based music.
In the course of their journey, they have both thrilled and challenged audiences throughout the UK and Europe.
While the band’s musical foundation lies wholeheartedly in the blues, there is also a hefty mix of jazz, funk, Latin, rock and even reggae to produce a potent musical brew.
Sugarkane is a band that will take you on a roller coaster of a ride.
The show starts at 4pm and the door charge is £8.
