A national brass band takes to the stage later this month as Market Rasen Methodist Church’s 150th anniversary celebrations continue.
The National Methodist Youth Brass Band will be in concert on Saturday, June 29.
Formed in 1987, the band exists to further the musical aspirations and experience of young brass players in a Christian environment.
The Band meets four or five times a year at weekends in various parts of the country, generally, but not exclusively at Methodist Churches.
They rehearse at their host church on the Friday evening and Saturday morning, ready for the evening concert.
They also undertake a tour each summer, alternating between the UK and abroad.
As well as the Saturday evening concert in Market Rasen, the band will be taking part in the morning worship service at 10.45am the following day.
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 7pm, cost £5 each and are available from 01673 844214.
