A CONTEMPORARY feel to classic blues and blues-rock comes to the Hope Tavern this Sunday, when five-piece band Storm Warning blow in for the regular Sunday Blues session.
In a relatively short time they have been together, the band has taken many a festival by storm, have played throughout the UK and ventured into Europe. They have also recently had three of their live session songs played on The Paul Jones Show. (BBC Radio 2).
Steve Norchi fronts the band on lead vocals. Bob Moore blends rock and jazz influenced guitar into the Storm Warning sound, with the classic Hammond and piano sounds of Ian Salisbury adding an additional blues-based dimension. Drummer Rus Chaney and bassist Derek White complete the line-up.
Storm Warning will be playing at the Holton le Moor venue from 4pm to 6pm this Sunday, December 4, and the door charge is £6.
