Rare opportunity to see Blues favourites return to The Hope

THIS Sunday, August 14, sees the return of Danny Bryants Redeye Band, now regarded as one of Europe’s best exponents of Blues/Rock, to the Blues session in the Hope Tavern at Holton le Moor.

Playing music that is on the very edge of Blues and Rock, this excellent band could be put in the same frame as Walter Trout or Joe Bonamassa, it definitely has that definable British edge to it.

Now successfully touring mainland Europe for most of the year, Danny makes this rare appearance in the UK with a return to the Tavern for the first time in two years.

In a career that has seen him perform on the same bill as such names as Joe Cocker, Carlos Santana, Greg Allman, Buddy Guy and Peter Green, Danny and his band have steadily carved a huge and loyal fan base around the world.

February 2010 saw the release of “Just As I Am”, the band’s fastest selling and most critically acclaimed album to date.

Appearing on Blues charts across Europe, and with glowing reviews from the international press, as well as numerous interviews and features in music magazines, “Just as I am” turned out to be a milestone album for the band.

This is sure to be one of the highlights of the season at the Tavern.

Music starts at 4pm and the door charge is £8.50
