A chirping, twittering and buzzing programme of music takes place at Claxby on Tuesday, July 30.
Mean Time present The Birds and the Bs Music in the church at 7.30pm.
All four members of Mean Time specialised in recorders at either Trinity College or The Royal School of Music and they will be exploring birdsong, love, nature and composers, three beginning with B, at the concert.
The programme also includes music by Vivaldi, Korsakov, Finch and, of course, Byrd.
With their other musical strengths as singers and harpsichordists, Mean Time are able to offer a scintillating and innovative pastiche of solos, duos, trios and quartets.
Tickets, including refreshments, cost £8 in advance from Elizabeth Holmes on 01673 828364 or Helen Wilson on 01673 828315.
Tickets will also be available on the door.
