The world class vocals of internationally lauded Chris While and the uncannily similar quality of daughter Kellie will combine for an evening of unforgettable live music at Faldingworth next weekend.
Whenever you hear two superb vocalists sing together it is a great experience, but when they are mother and daughter it becomes something else - each song is a showcase for the delicate complimentary bond that exists between them.
Chris is recognised as one of the finest singers on the acoustic circuit, both in the UK and around the world.
She tours, writes, records and performs both as a soloist and with singer-songwriter Julie Matthews.
Chris was also a member of the Albion Band in 1993, as lead singer and guitarist, replacing Julie Matthews.
She toured and recorded with the band for four years gaining a much wider audience and reputation, both nationally and internationally.
Kellie tours annually with the Albion Christmas Band and has provided guest vocals for some of the most respected names in folk - including Eddi Reader, Fairport Convention, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Martin Simpson.
She also fronted the world/folk band e2k for three years from 2000, making two albums.
Chris & Kellie While will be in concert at Faldingworth Village Hall on Saturday, April 26, when the other featured artists will be Richard Langridge & Kathryn O’Connor.
Music starts at 8pm and tickets cost £8, which can be reserved from Andy Watkins on 01522 535770 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
